This racecourse, also known as Ballybrit Racecourse, is located approximately 5km northeast of Galway city centre, and is home to the annual Galway Races. Each year this racecourse plays host to 150,000 people attending the race events who then also get to enjoy everything else Galway has to offer in the evening.
