Our Pet Policy

Bringing Your Dog To The Dean

Dogs are part of the trip too. Across The Dean Hotels, we welcome smaller dogs for city breaks, longer stays and weekends away across Ireland and Germany.

Here’s everything you need to know before you arrive.

Dog Eligibility

We currently welcome dogs only:
  • Maximum of 1 dog per room
  • Dogs must weigh under 10kg / 22lbs
  • Dogs must be booked in advance before arrival

Assistance Dogs

Registered assistance dogs are welcome across all Dean Group properties. Please let the hotel team know before arrival so we can make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The Dog Package

Our Dog Package is €40 per stay, regardless of length.

The package includes:
  • Dog bed
  • Dog bowls
  • Dean dog toy
The Dog Package must be added before arrival during the booking process. If we are not informed before arrival, we reserve the right to refuse the booking.

Dog-Friendly Hotels Across The Dean

All Dean Group hotels are dog-friendly, however we only allow a limited number of dogs in the hotel at one time.
If the Dog Package is unavailable for your selected dates, it means the hotel has reached pet-friendly capacity for that stay period.
If you are booking through a travel agent or corporate booking portal, simply select “Travelling With A Pet” and our reservations team will help arrange the stay.

Where Dogs Are Welcome

Dogs are welcome in:
  • Hotel lobbies
  • Lounge spaces
  • Selected bar areas
So yes, they can stay close while you settle into cocktails or coffee.
Dogs are not permitted inside restaurant dining areas, pool areas, gym facilities or late-night venues.
Access may vary slightly by property and our reception teams will guide you on arrival.

During Your Stay

To keep things easy for everyone staying with us, we ask that:
  • Dogs are well-behaved and house-trained
  • Dogs are not left alone in rooms
  • Dogs remain on a lead in public spaces
  • Guests clean up after their dog
If housekeeping is requested during your stay, your dog will need to leave the room while it is being serviced.
Guests remain responsible for any damage, excessive cleaning or disturbances caused during the stay.

We love dogs! All Dean Group hotels welcome dogs, depending on availability and advance booking.

How many dogs are allowed per room?

We can host one dog per booking. 

Are dogs allowed in gym or pool areas?

For safety, we don't allow dogs in gym or pool areas. 

Is there a fee for bringing a dog?

The Dog Package is €40 per stay (regardless of length) and includes a dog bed, bowls and toy.

Are dogs allowed in hotel bars?

Absolutely. Dogs are welcome in lobbies and selected bar areas.

Are dogs allowed in restaurants?

Much as we'd love that, we don't allow doggos in our dining spaces.

Are assistance dogs allowed?

Absolutely. Registered assistance dogs are welcome at all Dean Group properties.
